Sweat Pea Stitches

Aren't these stitched felt flowers just the cutest things?  They're called Sweat Pea and are in the Occasions Mini catalog (117266.)  I had my machine out the other day and played around with them.  I stitched down some Old Olive 1/4" ribbon and adhered the flowers with Tombo glue.  I pulled out the Eastern Blooms set for the small stamped flowers and then just stitched the stems.  I made some "grass" out of a strip of Old Olive and then secured it at the base with a zig-zag stitch. I used Pumpkin Pie and Taken with Teal for the layers, which are some of the colors in the Sweat Pea Designer Series Paper Stack (117161.)  It's a different look from my typical cards!  Happy Stamping!

Love Notes Mailbox

I love to decorate these little mailboxes for Valentine's Day!  I have a stash of these that I got in the Dollar Spot at Target a few years ago so I'm not going to run out anytime soon!  I used a piece of Heidi Grace paper and applied it with Mod Podge..  The ribbons are Rose Red and Pink.  I used the large oval punch and adhered it to both sides of the flag with glue dots.  The cute little heart is from the Heart to Heart punch (113694.)  I've made some 3x3 love notes to tuck inside, which I'll post later.  Happy Stamping!

A Valentine Treat

 I have tons of these peppermint sticks left over from Christmas and thought this would be  a great way to use them up!  I used the Two Tags die and ran Pretty in Pink through the Big Shot.  The hearts are a retired wheel that I inked in Real Red and added some Dazzling Diamonds to a few of them.  A very quick and easy project - a great one for kids to do!  Happy Stamping!

Help for Haiti

Vintage Initial

For this card I used the Very Vintage wheel inked with Bordering Blue and ran it over the Vanilla cardstock.  Then I inked the Bella Toille background stamp with Night of Navy and stamped it on some Bordering Blue cardstock. The two pieces were 4" x 5 1/4", I cut them into two pieces, and adhered them to Navy cardstock.  I stamped the Vintage Label (a Sale-A-Bration set) and the Sweet Monogram initial in Navy. I used the 1" circle punch to put the initial in the center of the label. It's popped up on dimensionals over a piece of Vanilla taffeta ribbon.  Happy Stamping!
