Flowers for a Friend

 I pulled out Inspired by Nature and cut down the image for the focal point of this card.  The petals are sponged with Regal Rose, the stems with Old Olive, and the flower heads are "pounced" with the Rose Red Stampin' Write marker.  It's layered on Rose Red and Old Olive cardstock and tied up with Certainly Celery and Rose Red 1/4" grosgrain ribbon.  I inked the Friends wheel with Certainly Celery and rolled it over the cardstock several times.  This is for a special friend of mine and I hope that she likes it!  Happy Stamping!

Fifth Avenue Thoughts

 This is a card I made for a friend of mine who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.  It's a 5" x 5" card using Pink Pirouette as the base.  I stamped the images from the Fifth Avenue Floral set using Pink Pirouette, Riding Hood Red and Close to Cocoa. To add some depth to the large flower, I used a blender pen and a little bit of ink to go around the edges of the petals.  It's hinged at the top and tied up with the 5/8" white organza ribbon.  I'm really going to miss some of the 08-09 In Colors, so I'm going to have to stock up before the end of June.  If you want to do the same, order yours today!  Stampin' Up! will release the retired list - now called the "Last Chance List" - on Julne 1.  Happy Stamping!

Fifth Avenue Wedding

  This is a wedding card I made using the Manahttan Floral Embossing Folder and Shimmery White Cardstock.  It is so simple but creates an elegant look and of course, looks better in real life!  I embossed the image pn the shimmery cardstock and then cut out around the top edge of the petals.  I added a piece of the white Organza Ribbon and adhered it to the front of the shimmery cardstock.  Next I embossed another piece, cut out the large rose, added Dazzling Diamonds to the edges, and popped it up on dimensionals over the same image.  The sentiment inside is from God's Blessings and was stamped in silver.  If you haven't ordered the embossing folder, hurry over to my online site and do it today!   You won't regret it!  Happy Stamping!

 

Bella Friend

 

Pink Pirouette and Chocolate Chip are one of my favorite color combos. I'm going to stock up on the pink before it retires!   It's hard to see, but I versamarked EnFrancais on the card base.  Next I inked the medallion from Friends 24-7 in Pink Pirouette, stamped it off once then stamped over the versamark a couple of times.  I layered a piece of Bella Birds Designer Series Paper over Chocolate Chip and tied it up with the striped white organdy ribbon. The main image is popped up on dimensionals and I added a pale pink Dew Drop.  Happy Stamping!
