I pulled out the Priceless set for this card. The swirl is Versamarked on the new In Color, Bermuda Bay. The images are stamped in Bermuda Bay and Bashful Blue and layered on Bashful Blue and Night of Navy. The polka dot ribbon ties in nicely with the dots in the stamps. "Happy Birthday" is stamped in Night of Navy from the All Holidays set. Happy Stamping!
The new Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper has some great designs and lends itself well to creating this type of card. I punched out 1 3/8" squares and used a glue stick to attach them to a piece of white cardstock. After running it through the Top Note die with my Sizzix I trimmed off the edges before attaching it to another Pale Plum top note. It's tied with Mambo Melon ribbon through the Jumbo Grommet. I took a piece of Mambo Melon cardstock and ran it through the Sizzix with an embossing plate before attaching it to the base.
I saw this design on Kim Warne's blog the other day and she has graciously posted a great tutorial here. I used the Bella Blue Designer Series Paper for this Tri-Shutter Card, which I plan to send out today to a friend who is having surgery this week. To make the butterfly I inked the embossing folder with Not Quite Navy and used Very Vanilla cardstock to run it through my Sizzix. Then I placed that piece on the Bigz Butterfly die and ran it through again. I added some pearls for the body and a piece of thin copper wire for the antennae. I really like this new In Color called Melon Mambo! All the In Color ribbons this year are two sided - polka dot or plain AND there are In Color Stampin' Write Markers! Check them all out in the new catalog. I used the Priceless set and stamped the flowers in Melon Mambo and adhered it to a piece of matching cardstock. I stamped circles in Versamark on Old Olive. I ran a piece of Pretty in Pink through the Big Shot using one of the Texturz plates, adhered in on top of the olive cardstsock then added the ribbon. I olive and pink brads to the centers of the flowers and popped it up on dimensionals. Very girly and fun! Happy Stamping!
