I apologize for the lack of posts over the last couple of months and I thank you for your patience. I was completing my clinical work as part of a RN Refresher Program and after ten years out of the profession, it was a bit overwhelming. I now have an active license again and I am anxious to see where the Lord will lead me!
This is a card that I made to send to friends and relatives. I used the Perfect Detail Texturz Plate with Dusty Durango cardstock. Then I sponged the top with Dusty Durango ink to give it some depth. The image is from the Bright Blessings Jumbo Wheel. But I took the rubber off the wheel and attached it to a piece of cling foam, mounted it on an acrylic block, and used Stampin' Write Markers to color it. I distressed the edges before adhering it to a piece of Old Olive and tied it up with some retired ribbon.
I'd like to share with you part of the Thanksgiving Proclamation given by George Washington on October 14, 1789: "...Now therefore, I do recommend and affirm that the twenty-sixth day of November next, to be devoted by the people of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being who is the beneficent author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be; that we may then all unite in rendering unto Him our sincere and humble thanks for His kind care and protection...for the civil and religious liberty with which we have been blessed..."
Have a blessed day.
