Stamping Expressions

God Bless America

   

This is a retired set, called Land That I Love, but on this election day I wanted to post it.  This is still the greatest country on earth and what a privlege we have today to vote!  I stamped the eagle in Basic Gray and layered it on Brilliant Blue and Riding Hood Red.  The stars are stamped in versamark.  I used Kraft cardstock for the base.                                    

I actually designed this card for our son, who was just awarded his Eagle Scout rank.  He follows in the footsteps of his grandfather and great-grandfather and we're very proud of him! 

Blue Bayou

I used more retiring items for this layout: Carte Postale and Blue Bayou cardstock and ink. The sentiment is from Sincere Salutations and goes so well with any design.  I layered the medallion using the square punches & the ticket punch was used for the corners of the white strip.

Birthday Blue

I made this card for my oldest son's birthday.  I had just a small  piece left of the Azure Designer Series Paper (retiring) hence the layout!  The cardstock is Brilliant Blue and the sentiment is from It's Your Birthday.  I colored the black and white gingham ribbon with the Brilliant Blue marker to match the colors.  Email me if you want to order any of the Designer Series Papers which are all on the Retired List.

For Dad

I'm starting to work on some Father's Day cards and this uses the All Holidays set  (page146 in the Stampin' Up! catalog.)  I colored the stamp with Stampin' Write Markers in Brilliant Blue and Basic Black then stamped the image.

The print paper is from the Designer Series Paper (Page 171.)  The white card is on a base of Brilliant Blue cardstock.  I added a layer of black under neath the image and popped it up on dimensionals.
